About 16 Inch Boys Bikes

These bikes are aimed at boys aged 5 to 7 years old. Therefore they don't come with stabilisers - manufacturers tend to consider a 16" bike to be more of a second bike, for youngsters who have already learned to ride a bike. In fact, in this size range cycle companies start to offer a choice of different style of bikes, such as BMX bikes. But you will find standard style bikes too, such as the Ridgeback MX16, which is a wonderful bike for a young boy in the 5 to 7 age range.
