About Ridgeback Bikes for Boys

Ridgeback are on of the biggest and best known names in cycle manufacturing. They have been around since the 1980s, when mountain bikes were first introduced and became popular. In fact, the Ridgeback mountain bike was one of the first of these style bikes to be sold in UK. Since then Ridgeback has expanded it's range significantly, and now offers a great choice of bikes across all ranges, sizes and ages. Their boys bikes include bikes from 14" to 24" wheels. Ridgeback refer to their kids bike models as MX14, MX16, MX20 and MX24 - in other words, the bike wheel size after the "MX" prefix. The Ridgeback MX24 is a highly respected mountain bike for boys, using many similar parts and design techniques as the Ridgeback adult mountain bikes. These great little off road bikes come with off road tyres, but should be fine for road riding too.
